You must be 21 years old to attend.

A valid NC Driver's License or government ID with your picture and current address.
No criminal record of any kind of violence & no felonies!
$85 per person – lunch and snacks included!
Pay via PayPal or check made out to Spring Mountain Community Center, mailed to SMCC, P.O. Box 73, Fairview, NC 28730 and postmarked by October 15.
The discussion will include:
State law on the uses of lethal and deadly force,
When is it justified and when it is not?
Places where you can carry your firearm and where you can’t.
Handgun safety!
Range safety.
Loading and unloading your firearm.
Storing your firearm away from children and unauthorized persons.
Cleaning your firearm.
The different types of firearms, and firearm actions.
Where to apply for your CCH permit, the cost, and what documents you will need.
Also, discussion on the use of non-lethal methods.
You will shoot your firearm in the presence of the instructor certified by the NRA and NC State Justice academy.
