STORM CLEANUP AT THE SPRING MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY CENTER

Storm Cleanup Day! 

February 23rd 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

807 Old Fort Rd.

The last week of February a contractor is coming to grade the property and move debris to the side entrance along Whitaker Rd.

We need many hands to help pick up small debris and leave it in piles to make it efficient for an excavator to get up all the small stuff.

We will also be dismantling the playground equipment. Our Building and Grounds lead person will be present to oversee this.
The playground area is going to be graded and new equipment installed.
Unfortunately, the current playground equipment is too damaged to make repairs on it, but we will salvage as much as we can.

We will provide water for volunteers and bathrooms are available.

Volunteers should bring any of the following that they have: gloves, heavy rakes, pitchforks, hoes, shovels, wheelbarrows.
We will NOT be cutting any branches or logs as the excavator will be removing them, so they don’t need to be cut.
